Earl Louis Bordelon, Jr.
Earl Louis Bordelon Jr., 47, a native of Lafayette and a resident of Franklin, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 in Burns Point, La.
Visitations will be Tuesday, December 30, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary, with the rosary being prayed at 6:30 p.m.
Visiting will resume Wednesday, at 8 a.m., at Ibert’s.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 10 a.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary, with Fr. Lloyd Benoit officiating the services. Burial will follow in Perpetual Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be George Graffeo, Warren Boudreaux, Joey Landry, Toby Adams, Jay Broussard and Kevin Gaspard. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Bordelon, Jeremy Meche and Robin Boudreaux.
Mr. Bordelon is survived by his wife of 21 years, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Landry Bordelon of Franklin; two daughters, Mandi Landry of Franklin and Jessica Bordelon of Franklin; one brother, Mark Bordelon and his wife, Michelle, of Franklin; his father-in-law, August J. Landry Sr. of Franklin; one brother-in-law, Joey Landry of Franklin; one sister-in-law, Kathy Boudreaux and her husband, Robin, of Franklin; five nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Bordelon Sr. and Maryann Fitch Bordelon; one brother, David Bordelon; one sister, Nancy Bordelon; his mother-in-law, Glenda H. Landry; and two nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin.
