Santa Claus paid an early visit to Franklin Tuesday to ride with personnel and volunteers of the Franklin Fire Department as they made their way through the streets singing ``Silent Night'', ```Tis the Season to be Jolly'' and other Christmas favorites. Fire Chief Peggy Davis, at left, said she hopes to revive the old-time tradition for Christmases to come.
