Ann D. Borne

Ann Deslatte Borne, 66, a native of Centerville, a former resident of Baldwin and Franklin, and a longtime resident of Centerville, died Friday, August 8, 2008, at 1:53 p.m., at her home surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Manville Borne; three sons, Ted Borne of Centerville, Patrick Borne and his wife, Linda, of Thibodaux and Tim Borne and his wife, Michelle, of Franklin; two daughters, Lori B. Powers and her husband, Joe, of LaPlace and Karen B. Mouton and her husband, Chad, of Centerville; two brothers, Larry Deslatte and his wife, Loretta, of Franklin and Wayne Deslatte and his wife, Lelia, of Centerville; and 11 grandchildren.

Mrs. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Roussell Deslatte and Bessie Marie Boudreaux Deslatte; three brothers, Farrell Deslatte, Guy Deslatte and Clyde Deslatte; and one sister, Janice Gober.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed Sunday, August 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin. The rosary was prayed at 7 p.m., led by Deacon Harry Darce. Visiting resumed Monday, at 9 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville.

A Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, August 11, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Thomas Habetz, with Deacon Harry Darce, officiated the services.

Arrangements were entrusted to Ibert’s Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin.
