Franklin Fire Department personnel responding to reports of smoke coming from a mobile home at 410 Canal Drive Tuesday found a pot smoldering on an electric stove and no one at home. Fire Chief Peggy Davis said the call came in at 3:34 p.m. and units were on scene three minutes later. There were no injuries or damages to the trailer, she said.
