One person sustained minor injuries in a collision on Northwest Boulevard Monday at 1:15 p.m., according to reports from Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire. The chief said the Chevrolet subcompact vehicle above was rammed while coming out of a nearby parking lot by a Chevrolet half-ton pickup that was traveling north on the boulevard. Two 18-wheel trucks parked on the side of the northbound lane were blamed for obstructing the view of both drivers, according to McGuire. There were no citations issued. The driver of the car, Nancy Clements of Patterson, was transported by Acadian Ambulance to Franklin Foundation Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
