Areas of Franklin in the vicinity of eastern Main Street were without power for about two hours Thursday after low-lying utility lines at Clark Street and Main were brought down by a passing garbage truck. Franklin fire and police personnel assisted at the scene until the lines were put back in place. There were no injuries reported.
